I recently changed over to EC5 connectors and really like them. I have also have started using a Life pack straight into the receiver.

Rutland County Fun Fly

Arrived about an hour ago here in Fairhaven VT for the 6th annual Rutland County fun fly. The turn out is great and us Heli pilots are the minority for sure! Great bunch of guys and I am happy to be here.

Miniature Aircraft Furion 6 FBL

It has been some time since I have made a post here! Flying season is in full swing and I have been flying A LOT. I wanted to mention how much I enjoy flying the Miniature Aircraft Furion 6. It has become my favorite machine of all times. With approx 160 flights on it now nothing has loosened up and the only maintenance I have performed is a drop of oil on the main shaft and tail shaft from time to time. Originally it was a flybared machine and after changing it over to FBL with the Beastx system it is a whole new helicopter.

Happy New year!

One of my good friends is about to setup a Castle Creations HV110 in his new 700E conversion for the first time. After speaking with him on the phone about it I realized it is just plain tough to walk someone through this over the phone. After you have done this a few times it seems simple but trying to explain all the steps it really ends up being quite long and there is no way for someone to remember everything. I decided to write a document that covers programming the ESC for SET RPM mode using the governor, throttle calibration and auto rotation calibration. Castle has a bunch of great videos which I will include a link although I thought it would be nice to outline everything in one place.
